most likely an honest mistake. as a moderator we have no problems doing whatever we want in those areas of the forum, and the fact they were locked has at least slipped my attention
Are you not able to reply to the threads or create new threads? The reason that the forums themselves being closed is so that only the automatic forumbot can create threads!
