Achievement Unlocked

Two frequent and annoying glitches with solutions to both! Both happened to me when I played, but luckily I could solve them before giving up and restarting the game.

Hayes

This glitch is caused by entering this area equipped with the Thompson gun. You are not supposed to actually have this gun before this area, as Hayes gives it to you. Using cheats will get you this gun, but it will also prematurely activate scripted events in this area, which means Hayes (and a third dinosaur) will glitch and get stuck, leaving you unable to proceed to the next area. If this glitch occurs, save & quit your current game, enter KKsn1per in cheats in the main menu, then re-load. The game should not glitch now.

Jimmy / To the plane

Nearby the plane at the end of this chapter, Jimmy will appear to be stuck on a ledge near a stack of spears. He will not budge nor move to the plane, and it seems you won't be able to proceed. What happens here is that there are supposed to be a grassy area near the plane, but in some cases it fails to render. This means that the grass is still there, but it is invisible. To proceed from this area, grab a spear, light it on fire, run down to the area by the plane and try hitting thin air with the spear. Eventually you should see sparkles coming up from the ground, meaning you're successfully burning the grass. Jimmy will now come down.
