Ok well, I got a request from some dude called SamuraiLink on xbl saying that hes having trouble with the coins on Shanghai and I have to confess they were tricky to find..

What I did was that as soon as the level started I took control of the Human Torch, I then flew up the first Alley on my left and then just followed it down. all the way to the tunnel at the bottom. Then I went across the road and went back to the start via the opposite side I came down on.

The reason this is a pain in the A hole is because this level is the same two alleys repeated about 7 or 8 times.. Weak eh?

But yeah. Just follow the alleys, jump over the gaps and always stay going in one way down the road..

Kreung I think it may be alot more useful if we remake the shanghai coin guide and just show us doing this or show the whole level as it was very hard to find a specific point to go from as the level was essentially the same tiny level just multiplied..

yeah, i know it's a tricky level, especially the repetative design of it. we bitched a while when making the clip, and we should have done it in one run. maybe it can be redone, but not in a while i guess. the cache has to be deleted and we have to replay the game. i don't wanna do that, because the game sucks!

From what I understood, the level is divided into 4(?) zones. You cannot enter zone B before you kill each enemy in zone A (there will be an invisible wall where the wooden boards are.) The three coins are located in zone A, B, and C (the last zone - D - is where you exit the level)

When I made this vid, I had no indication of where the coins were, apart from mortug telling me where to look (it was my very first playthrough), and I pretty much had to search for them. I didn't realise that you could just walk straight up one alley, and down the other. But as with mortug, don't feel like replaying this game Besides, editing the vids is a bitch!

Well I still need to finish the game on Fantastic level so if you want I can film it and put it up on Youtube then you can link it on the description and just say like if you're having trouble look here..

I don't have a capture card. BUT I do film guitar hero videos and they come out alright quality.


Also, with my xbox broken, I couldn't check the number of times its repeated so sorry for that.

That would be great, don't think the quality can be any worse than I get from my dazzle capture card
In case you didn't know, you won't be able to pick up coins you already picked up from a previous playthrough, in case you go through the game without realizing

I think you can if you have a second player, as they haven't picked the coins up yet

I'm pretty sure the other coins were still there but obviously I haven't been looking for them and I haven't even got to lava tunnel where you're the human torch

Haha I'm pretty sure I can get ALOT worse than that.. I got oldschool.. fold out table with my camera phone blu-tacked up.. Yeahhhhhhh. haha

Ah, didn't know that, actually. I kinda messed up the Shanghai clip (was pretty tired of capturing all of the symbols and spybots, and I still had shitloads of editing to do ), but what made it even worse was that the AI picked a symbol up, which made me so annoyed, lol. All that work just to get screwed by the AI, didn't even know they could pick up symbols

I thought you could only reach with torch...

I was up there when the Thing was killed, and all of the sudden he got teleported up there. I went down, and for some reason he picked it up.
